Madison Design Group is a small strategic design group that delivers strong design solutions for small to large corporations and not-for-profits. We deliver quality holistic campaigns in design of advertising, magazine design, web site design, brand identity systems, brochures, and direct–to–consumer print materials. The studio environment is set-up as collaborative experience where everyone jumps in to give feedback and work together to achieve the clients goals.

Introduction to Graphic Design
These introductory design courses cover the technical use of major design applications including Illustrator, Photoshop, & InDesign. Students are also introduced to a wide variety topics such as symbols, imagery & meaning, information design, design history and three-dimensional graphic design. Students leave these courses with an understanding of how to create and analyze mature graphic form and functionality while furthering technical skills and achieving a better understanding of what graphic design is.

At Benchmark I designed advertising, identity systems, brochures, point–of–purchase displays, and direct–to–consumer print materials for major Procter & Gamble brands including Olay Global, Zest, Bounce, Noxzema, etc.; Craftsman tools; and Kavo Dental. I have a strong understanding of model and product photography concepting. Strategic development of branding research for existing brands and new clients was one of my primary responsibilities. I developed and managed new business materials that helped grow the business for the agency. In addition, I reviewed and advised college students on portfolios and resume writing.

The Artery
Founding Member/President
The Artery was a non-profit art center dedicated to serving emerging local artists by providing low-rent studio spaces and the opportunity to exhibit in professional gallery spaces. Here, I helped create, develop, and instruct art programs for inner–city youth and low–income families. I was also a guest lecturer at public schools, colleges and universities on topics such as design, art, community service and career counseling.
